Quinoa Garden Salad Stack


Sneak some whole grains into your kids’ diets with this delicious salad.

In a tall container layer all ingredients except the dressing. Place the dressing in a small, separate container.


 

Ingredients:

Shredded carrots
Iceberg lettuce
Diced red peppers
Diced cucumbers
Cooked quinoa or couscous
Green leaf lettuce
Sliced tomatoes
Buttermilk or Ranch dressing

 

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies


1. Mix together butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

2. Stir in baking soda, salt, and flour. Mix well.

3. Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips.

4. Bake at 375 degrees for 8–10 minutes.

1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups flour
2 cups oatmeal
1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips
