Waffle Cone

Cooking waffles for breakfast Saturday or Sunday? Make extra, and use them for lunches this week. Freeze extra for future use.

 

 

1. Soften a waffle in the microwave, if necessary.
 
2. Spread some peanut butter in the center of the waffle, and top with berries.
 
3. Roll waffle around fruit into a cone, and secure with a toothpick.

 

 

Ingredients:

Waffle
Peanut butter or Nutella
Berries

 

Waffles

 

1. In a large bowl, stir together the dry ingredients.
 
2. Add the rest of the ingredients, and mix well.
 
3. Spray a waffle iron with non-stick spray. Heat the waffle iron. Pour batter onto waffle iron, and cook until golden.

 

 

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 eggs

 

Cucumber Hearts

 

Slice a large cucumber in 1/4” slices. Use a small, heart cookie cutter to cut hearts out of each slice.
