1 avocado, peeled, pitted, and cut into 1⁄4-inch slices
Micro greens (optional)
Whisk together oils, ginger, lemon juice, and sesame seeds to make
vinaigrette. To serve, alternate slices of avocado and pear on plate. Drizzle with vinaigrette and garnish with sesame seeds and micro greens.

The presentation of this salad can be elegant or rustic. We chose the elegant route, but it doesn’t mean that you can’t toss all of these ingredients together in a big bowl and make a delicious chopped salad. The creaminess of the avocado combined with the crisp pear is refreshing but decadent. Get creative with the garnishes and seeds, if you like.
