Avocado Crème Fraîche

Avocado Crème Fraîche is another staple in the raw food kitchen. It can substitute anything from ranch dressing to mayonnaise to sour cream. Adding fresh herbs is a great way to get creative.


  • 3 avocados, peeled and pitted
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1⁄2 tablespoon miso
  • apple cider vinegar
  • 1 date (optional)
  • Water, if needed to blend until smooth
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Blend all ingredients until smooth. Serve with crudité or vegetable chips.
