Chai is so tasty, but also super good for you. The herbal blend of chai is great for digestion and the spices are warming to the body. Authentic chai is used as a healing beverage in the practice of Ayurveda. This version is as close as it gets without the dairy and refined sugar.
Stir all ingredients together.
Use approximately 2 teaspoons of mixture per cup of tea.
To serve, brew tea in hot water for 1–2 minutes depending on the strength that you prefer. Strain out tea leaves. Pour in milk and top with foam. Add honey or stevia if you prefer a slightly sweeter drink. Traditional chai is served very sweet.
