Heart Beet

It is electric! This drink is super bright. Yellow beets make for a slightly less potent and more refreshing drink. Turmeric is a superfood spice—it is one of the most powerfully anti-inflammatory foods that you can consume. If you can’t find yellow beets, you can certainly substitute red; you will just sacrifice the amazing color. Studies show that beets are beneficial in lowering blood cholesterol levels. The nitrates found in vegetables like beets help protect blood vessels.


  • 1 large yellow beet, washed and peeled
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 (1-inch) chunk turmeric, or substitute 1 teaspoon dried
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme leaves
  • Process all ingredients through a juicer.
