How does the universe stay together?

Gravity, the same force that keeps your two feet on the ground, holds the entire universe together. Gravity is the force of attraction that exists between any two particles of matter, or any two objects. It holds planets in their orbits around the Sun, and the Moon in its orbit around Earth. Gravity is also the force that holds any object to Earthor to any other heavenly bodyinstead of allowing it to fly into space. The larger an object, the greater its gravitational pull.
