Make sure your child knows he has a limited amount of screen time every day or week. Adjust the amount to your lifestyle, but we suggest no more than thirty minutes per day.
Set a timer and train your child to realize that when the timer rings, the screen gets turned off.
Explain to your child that too much screen time can be bad for his well-being and that other types of play need to be part of his free time.
Don’t leave your iDevices lying around—make sure they have a specific storage place in the house, and that your child returns them to their spot at the end of screen time. This will reduce temptation.
