Sometimes kids are actually scared of getting all soaped up. Figure out if your child is afraid or if she just doesn’t want to have her hair washed. If she is afraid, find out more. Is it the shampoo-in-the-eyes concern? Assure her that the shampoo she picked does not sting (and be sure it doesn’t). Whatever the concern, get to the root of it and make it go away.
