Getting Ready Cons

Get Your Kid to the Doctor or Dentist

Getting children to feel comfortable about going to the doctor or dentist is tough, even without the negative propaganda they encounter in cartoons and movies. Virtually every visit to the doctor in the early months means receiving a shot, being poked and prodded, or just hanging out with a bunch of sick kids. Dentists come at them with strange-looking instruments, force them to open their mouths against their will, and sit them in a frightening-looking chair. But with a little pregame prep, and a few convenient cons, what seems like a necessary evil can actually become a fun outing.
