How do the pancreatic enzymes reach the small intestine?

The pancreatic enzymes reach the small intestine via the heptatopancreatic duct. This duct is formed by linking the bile duct with the pancreatic duct. The pancreatic secretions are highly alkaline in order to neutralize the acidic chyme.
