Allergic reactions include a variety of symptoms. Some common allergic reactions are allergic rhinitis, or “hay fever”; allergic conjunctivitis (an eye reaction); asthma; atopic dermatitis (skin reactions); urticaria, also known as hives; and severe systemic allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis.
