Where is adipose tissue found?

Adipose tissue is abundant in the body and constitutes 18 percent of an average person’s body weight. Adipose tissue is found under the skin of the groin, sides, buttocks, and breasts. It is found behind the eyeballs, surrounding the kidneys, and in the abdomen and hips.
