The Sun

Do other stars spin?

All stars spin at least somewhat. Whereas the Sun takes several weeks to rotate once on its axis, some stars can make a full rotation every few days. Stellar remnants, such as white dwarfs and neutron stars, can rotate even faster—some neutron stars rotate hundreds of times per second.
