What are some examples of an infrared telescope?

Examples of space-based infrared telescopes are the Spitzer Space Telescope and the Herschel Space Telescope. Examples of ground-based infrared telescopes are the Infrared Telescope Facility (IRTF) and the United Kingdom Infrared Telescope (UKIRT), both on Mauna Kea in Hawaii.
