Stargazing Basics

What is stargazing?

Stargazing is the act of looking up into the sky, usually at night, at stars and planets and other objects and phenomena in the sky. Stargazing can be done simply with unaided eyes, or with great complexity using telescopes, cameras, and other equipment. No matter how it’s done, stargazing can be awe-inspiring, educational, and just plain fun.
