The New Horizons mission is a space exploration probe that is traveling toward the Kuiper Belt. It will fly by Pluto and take the first close look at the dwarf planet, and, we hope, other Kuiper Belt Objects as well. Before it received its current name, the New Horizons mission was called the Pluto-Kuiper Express; before that, it was simply called Pluto Express.
