As far as people know, Earth is the only place in the universe that supports life. Many scientists believe that one day we will find life elsewhere in the cosmos, but even if we do discover other life forms out in the solar system, galaxy, or universe, we should realize that life is precious and we should value the fact that we live on a planet teeming with plant and animal species.
