Old TestamentThe Pentateuch |
Did Moses get angry at Aaron for his role in the scandal of the golden calf? |
Moses got angry at his brother, Aaron. However, Aaron deflected blame to the people: “You know how prone these people are to evil.” He continued, “So I said to them, ‘Whoever has gold jewelry, take it off’; Then they gave me the gold, and I threw it into the fire, and out came this calf!” (NIV, Exodus 32:22, 24)
