How does the birth narrative in Luke differ from those in Matthew and Mark?

Mark skips over Jesus’ birth entirely. Matthew describes Joseph’s early concerns about marrying Mary, and the visit of the Magi. It is in Luke that the praise of the angels and the worshiping shepherds are chronicled.
