How does the book of Habakkuk begin? |
It begins with a complaint from Habakkuk to God: “O LORD, how long shall I cry for help, and you will not listen? Or cry to you ‘Violence!’ and you will not save?” (NRSV, Habakkuk 1:2) Habakkuk was unhappy with the status quo in Judah.
