How does the book of Nahum begin?

It begins with a reminder of God’s intolerance against those who disobey him persistently: “The LORD is a jealous God, filled with vengeance and wrath. He takes revenge on all who oppose him and furiously destroys his enemies!” (NLT, Nahum 1:2)
