Is that event described in Deuteronomy, the book in which Moses’ death is recorded?

No. The struggle between Michael and Satan is not recorded in the Bible. Some scholars think Jude referenced a work called “The Assumption of Moses.” However, the part of “The Assumption of Moses” that survives today does not describe that particular event.
