Was there anything significant or telling about the other bones?

Yes. The bones of sixty-three bodies were found. Of these, nearly half the skeletons belonged to children under age five. This somber fact sheds light on mortality rates in first-century Israel. Sickness was common and destructive, even among the wealthy. Treatments and medicines were scarce and/or ineffective.
