What did Jonah do while he was in the fish?

He prayed. Jonah’s prayer was one of thanksgiving that God had preserved his life. When Jonah finished praying, “the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.” (KJV, Jonah 2:10)
