Naomi told Ruth to wash up, put on perfume, and go to where Boaz was winnowing barley. Naomi told Ruth that once Boaz laid down to rest, she should lie down and uncover his feet. Naomi assured Ruth that once she did all of this, Boaz would tell her what to do next.
