What did Samson do?

Before Samson was even conceived, an angel of God visited his mother. The angel said to her, “Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and not any unclean thing: For lot, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazirite unto God from the womb: he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.” (KJV, Judges 13:3–5) Here is another example of God using an unlikely person in unfavorable circumstances to carry out his will.
