What did Zephaniah foresee that would undo one of God’s earlier actions? |
Zephaniah foresaw a time when everyone would speak the same language so they could serve God “with one accord.” (NRSV, Zephaniah, 3:9) This would undo God’s confusing the people’s language at the tower of Babel. (NRSV, Genesis 11:9)
