As he walked down the road, a light from heaven flashed around him. A voice called to him and said, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” (NIV, Acts 9:4) The voice was that of Jesus. Jesus told Saul to go on to Damascus, where he would be given instructions on what to do.
