This collection of writings is additions to the book of Daniel. Azariah is the Hebrew name of Abednego. This first part of this apocryphal book is the prayer he says while in the fiery furnace. It is followed by the hymn of all three. The last part of the prayer is often called “The Song of the Three Jews.”
