New TestamentPaul’s Letters |
What is the book of Romans? |
Written about 57 C.E., Romans is the longest and most theologically dense letter in the New Testament. In it, Paul addressed the specific needs of the church in Rome. In the process, he delivered an eloquent explanation of how Christian beliefs evolved from Jewish beliefs, and he offered advice on how to live accordingly. At this point in his ministry, Paul had not yet been to Rome.
