New TestamentPaul’s Letters |
When did Paul write the first letter to the Ephesians? |
Doubt exists about whether Paul wrote the letter to the Ephesians because scholars say the writing style is so different from his other letters. If Paul did write it, he did so between 60 and 62 C.E. as ‘an ambassador in chains’ while under house arrest in Rome. If one of Paul’s companions wrote the letter, it might have been written as many as twenty years later.
