The exact location of the biblical Mount Sinai is a matter of dispute. The location most widely accepted as Mount Sinai is Jebel Musa, which is Arabic for “mountain of Moses.” Located on the Sinai Peninsula, Jebel Musa rises more than 7,000 feet above sea level.
