Who did Paul give as character references?

Paul provided the Galatians with information regarding his conversion and his first meeting with church leaders, James, Peter, and John. Paul added that when those three men “who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship.” (KJV, Galatians 2:9)
