Who tended to Jesus after he died? |
Joseph of Arimathea, a disciple of Jesus. He wrapped Jesus’ body in a clean linen cloth, and laid his body in a new tomb. Then he rolled a big stone in front of the tomb. Mary (the mother of Jesus) and Mary Magdalene watched. Soldiers stood watch by the tomb because they thought Jesus’ followers might steal him away in order to make Jesus’ prediction about rising after three days look as if it had come true.
