Who wrote the letter of Jude?

Jude. At the beginning of the letter, Jude identifies himself as being the brother of James. Jesus had four brothers—James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas. Most scholars think that the Jude who wrote this letter was the Judas who was Jesus’ brother. The letter was written around 60 C.E. Jude does not identify his locale. The recipients are identified as “all who are called to live in the love of God the Father and the care of Jesus Christ.” (NLT, Jude 1:1)
