Reproduction

How does asexual reproduction differ from sexual reproduction?

Asexual reproduction produces offspring with the exact genetic material of the parent. Only one individual is needed to produce offspring via asexual reproduction. Sexual reproduction produces offspring by the fusion of two gametes (haploid cells) to form one zygote (diploid cell). The male gamete is the sperm, and the female gamete is the egg.
