How long can an orange tree produce oranges? |
An average orange tree will produce fruit for fifty years, but eighty years of productivity is not uncommon, and a few trees are known to be still producing fruit after more than a century. An orange tree may attain a height of 20 feet (6.1 meters), but some trees are as much as 30 feet (9.1 meters) high. Orange trees grow well in a variety of soils but prefer subtropical settings.
