Eukaryotic cells have several DNA-containing organelles. DNA is found in nuclei (where it is called chromosomal DNA) and mitochondria (called mitochondrial DNA). And in plants—or eukaryotic cells capable of photosynthesis—chloroplasts contain DNA (called chloroplast DNA).
