Eating Habits

What evidence do paleontologists use to determine the diets of dinosaurs?

Because the actual, physical evidence of dinosaur diets is so rare (the soft parts of a dinosaur are rarely fossilized), paleontologists have turned to indirect evidence to form some idea of the feeding habits of dinosaurs. These include coprolites, trackways, fossil assemblages, and tooth marks on bones.
