What is one of the smallest dinosaur eggs known? |
So far, scientists claim the smallest dinosaur eggs ever found are from China. The four eggs, two of which contain remains of embryos, are from a dinosaur that may also turn out to be the smallest known (the Microraptor). The egg is about the size of a goldfinch egg, measuring about 0.7 inch (18 millimeters) long, or roughly the width of a thumbnail.
