What were the results of the 2006 National Geographic–Roper Public Affairs Geographic Literacy Study

The 2006 study is the latest in a series of surveys commissioned by the National Geographic Society, with the most recent previous wave being conducted in 2002. The countries that scored highest in the Poll were Sweden, Italy, and France. The United States and Mexico scored the lowest.
