Where are the Highlands

The island of Great Britain is divided into highlands and lowlands along the Tees-Exe line, which runs between Plymouth in the south and Middlesborough on the east coast. To the southeast of this line lie the flat plains of England, while to the northwest lie the Scottish Highlands.
