Hawaii’s Mauna Kea is the world’s largest mountain. It begins on the sea floor and rises 33,480 feet (10,205 meters). Mt. Everest only rises 29,000 feet (8,839 meters). Mauna Kea’s peak reaches 13,796 feet (4,205 meters) above sea level.
