How do I easily calculate return on investment?

You may easily calculate ROI by dividing the profit attributable to the investment by the total investment made. For example, if you decided to invest in a new server for a discrete group of clients for $10,000, and after all the income was received from the clients and expenses were paid you received $2,200 in profit, the ROI would be 2,200/10,000, or 22%.
