What is Morningstar?

As one of the most successful and credible ratings companies, Morningstar is a financial analytical firm that provides research services worldwide. Founded in 1984, it currently tracks the performance of 437,000 investment vehicles, including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, as well as real-time data on more than 10 million equities, indexes, futures, options, commodities, and precious metals, in addition to foreign exchange and treasury markets. Morningstar also offers investment management services, with over $176 billion under management. It maintains offices in 27 countries and employs approximately 3,490 people.
