Saving For Education

What is “campus-based aid”?

Campus-based aid is designed to help a student fund his education based upon financial need, how much other aid he currently receives, and the funds available from the institution when application is made. It is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Several federally funded campus-based aid programs are available to students, including Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), Federal Work-Study (FWS), and Federal Perkins Loan Program.
