The Insular Celts: Ireland and Wales

Who were the Insular Celts?

As noted above, the so-called Insular Celts were the ones who settled in the islands of Ireland and Great Britain. Their descendants inhabit primarily Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, and Scotland. Two major branches of insular mythology have come down to us: the mythology of Ireland and the mythology of Wales.
