Do socially responsible funds exist?

Yes, socially responsible funds seek to invest in stocks of companies that do no harm to the world, the environment, or its people. These funds may find companies that are involved in recycling, energy efficiency or contributing to education. As an example, a socially responsible fund would not invest in tobacco companies, or companies that genetically alter seeds for agriculture, or companies that are big polluters.
