Introduction

Our Financial Mindset

Isn’t it easier for me to just have a financial adviser, so that I don’t have to spend the time learning about personal finance?

No, in order to make the best use of anyone’s advice, you must take the time to be well informed, so that you can understand the different options or strategies. Millions of people feel that a financial adviser can make decisions for them, or that they can pay someone to “manage” their finances, so that they need not learn about it. People often fail to learn enough about personal finance, and cannot tell the difference between bad advice and good advice. If we are not well informed about the myriad of choices available to us and our advisers, it is very difficult to know what option is best for us.
